Wow! We’re back from San Diego and had a fantastic time at Comic Con this past weekend. Stuart NG is the nicest guy you could hope to work with and has the best collection of art books (especially French comics) you’ll probably find in the U.S. Check out his site at http://www.stuartngbooks.com. We did quite a bit of book signing. Met a lot of really nice people (most of whom it seemed either worked with Bob or were his students at some point - he apparently knows everyone in California).

We also got to meet Pierre Alary, a fantastic French comic artist and incredibly nice guy. He did these amazing drawings in the backs of people’s books then pulled out his watercolor set to finish them off!
It looks like we’re going to have quite the crew at Stuart’s booth this weekend. Dice, myself, Nash, Bob, Dan, Andrea and Benoit will all be there signing books! It’ll be good to see our west coast pals again.

Welcome to the latest incarnation of Out of Picture’s website! Hopefully this will make it easier for us to keep things current and much more useful for our visitors.
Lots of exciting things coming up for our book… It will be on sale at Stuart NG’s and Bud Plant’s stores once COMIC CON is over. They will both have copies on sale at COMIC CON, but some of us will be signing books over at Stuart’s booth.
We want to extend a HUGE congratulations to our very own Robert Mackenzie who’s OOP story warranted its own spread in the 2006 Communication Arts Illustration Annual!!! Way to go Bob!!!!
Hopefully we’ll have more info as far as availability of the book soon. This has to be the most difficult part of getting this thing out. To those that have been asking about it, thanks for your patience!
