Next weekend (June 23rd and 24th) is the 2007 MoCCA Art Festival and Out of Picture will once again be there. We debuted OOP 1 at MoCCA last year and are eagerly looking forward to this year’s festival.

In fact, all the promotional materials for this year’s MoCCA are based on the title page of Robert Mackenzie’s story Around the Corner!!! Congratulations Bob!

So come on down and get a copy of the original hardcover edition of OOP 1 if you don’t already have it, and we’ll be happy to sign it for you!

In other news, the Villard reprinting of Out of Picture, Volume 1 is well under production. We reviewed the color proofs this week and, some minor tweaks aside, it’s looking absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The print quality is just exquisite and I think the sketch gallery section in the back is going to be a really nice addition to the stories. We’re SO excited!

Everyone’s working feverishly on their stories for Volume 2 as the deadline is quickly heading our way in August! Here’s a sample from Dice’s story. It looks friggin incredible!!!

Now, I REALLY need to get back to work on my story for OOP 2!
